Hoodstock IX – Saturday, September 8, 2012! What began as a few friends having a live music party at Otterbein neighbor and UCP board member Russ Causey and his wife Jennifer’s home along with neighbors Larry and Gracie Musher has now become an annual fundraiser to benefit the programs and services of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Central Maryland. Last year’s event raised more than $40,000 with an estimated attendance of 300!
This event will once again feature live acoustic music in the spirit of Woodstock and late 60’s fashion with several wonderful singer songwriters, headlined by 4andO, which includes three former UCP board members and other performances by Hanover Blue and Roger "the Blues" Frisky. Additional bands to be announced soon. When: Saturday, September 8, 2012Where: The B&O Railroad Museum 901 W. Pratt Street Baltimore, MD 21223 The Museum will be open for tours. Time: Doors open at 5:00 pmOpening act starts at 5:30 pm
Headliner hits the stage at 8:00 pm
Dress: Casual or your best hippie outfit (tie-dye, bell bottoms, and your peace necklace.) Donation: Hoodstock producers ask that all attendees over age 12 make a minimum $35 donation to UCP. Raffle tickets and t-shirts ($20 each) will also be available for purchase.
